"End of October visit"

We visited the hotel the last 4 days in October, it was 80% empty and the weather was kinda cold but with a brilliant sunshine, the hotel is excellent, the room is spacious with a good sea view (a little distance in between) and although most of the restaurant were closed but we had a good variety and service. I bet this place in summer is exceptional.

From the very start to the end my experience is amazing. Great location with amazing view. Good service from all the friendly staff. Food and the ambiance is superb. So many beautiful place to explore just Inside the property.

"If you don't speak Turkish, stay away"

This was a very disappointing experience overall. The staff do not speak English, so unless you can speak Turkish, I would stay away. This wasn't a major problem throughout the stay, until the last day when I was greeted with a $120 bill for a small bag of laundry I had asked to have washed. When I had ordered the laundry, I'd phoned up specifically to check whether the prices were in US dollars or Turkish Lira. I was clearly told Turkish Lira, but apparently the person I was speaking to hadn't understood, so I had to pay. Not the end of the world, but leaves a bad taste in the mouth to be tricked out of $120 after spending $3,000 on a holiday. Elsewhere, this is a mediocre experience. I think a lot of people are drawn to it as it promises a five star experience at an affordable price. The reality is it doesn't deliver anything close to a five star experience. The food is very poor. Turkish food is some of the best in the world, and we ate lots of delicious meals in Istanbul before heading to Bodrum, but the main buffet is mediocre at best. One night, needing a break from the buffet, we went to the resort's Italian restaurant, and ate what is quite possibly the worst bolognese sauce I've tasted in my life. A room service pizza was like eating a piece of rubber. The pool is decent, but the main beach is artificial and overcrowded. The resort seems popular with Russian tourists, but I'd recommend everyone else stay away.

"Bodrum Rixos "

Great hotel for families with kids. Good and drinks were great for an all inclusive resort. Opportunity to improve room service. Overall very good for families, would not recommend for folks who desire less crowded beaches.

"Would go again"

Really pleasant weekend break. Good food but you have to pay if you want to use anything others than the normal buffet, this is not too much of a problem as this has plenty of choice and looks very fresh

"Beach volleyball field was very good."

Reception guys should clearly explain about the restaurants. First thing they tell you is that although this hotel is all-inclusive you have to physically come to the reception one day before to book a table at certain restaurants and some of them are not free of charge. What a shame!! Actually, except for the Sini Restaurant which is included in "all-inclusive" package, others are almost always empty. Overall I enjoyed my stay there. Hotel animators could do more.

"Rixos trip"

The Problem was that the hotel was family hotel with kids and local people Hotels.com basicly changed our trip originally was booked with vogue hotel and after a week hotels.com was canceled it on us and switched us to rixos hotel We didn't enjoy it because it was family resort and we didn't enjoy single life there and we didn't appreciate that. I would like some refund because we could have had real vacation and we spent a lot of money to get there.
