Balneario de Archena - Hotel León

We stayed for the spa and hiking in the local area. Our rooms weren't the best, but the resort itself is pretty impressive. All the staff we spoke to were professional and friendly, especially those in the casino bar!

Firstly, trying to book these rooms online was very frustrating. There is a 2 step verification process, the second step being an email that could arrive at any time, giving you only 15 minutes to verify. It took me 3 attempts and over a week to verify my booking due to this process. The rooms were a little dated, but for what we paid, it was ok for 2 nights. We stayed in a double and a triple, the triple room smelt of smoke, which was disappointing. Check-in also seemed to take a long time - around 30 minutes. Also, parking is NOT included. Long queues for the restaurant at lunch, and no booking in advance available, so be prepared to wait in line for up to an hour at weekends.

Dåligt utbud av bra mat. Restaurangen på hotellet var väldigt tråkig och inte särskilt mycket valmöjligheter.
