"Is this hotel really still going in 2025?!"

Location was decent

Too much. It was old, dated and constantly noisy. Our room was tiny with no daylight coming in - felt like a prison. The housekeeping staff were extremely loud and we could hear them from 6am making noise as they woke up over guests to ask if their room wanted cleaning. Upon leaving we went to explore the spa - which was closed for our whole stay - and found ourselves in another and much nicer part of the hotel. Not sure why we were staying in the equivalent of a 1* hotel if there were better facilities on offer. Not a relaxing break at all

Perfectly good but a pity that the coffee was from a jug of filter coffee. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The pool etc facilities were an extra cost. I don't think this was mentioned in their webpage.
