Breakfast and location fantastic. loved the remoteness and the views over the estuary. We are planning a weekend break in the autumn. All being well.

"Goede tussenstop maar minder geschikt voor langer verblijf."

De ruime kamer . Het beloofde strijkijzer en strijkplank alsook de haardroger waren aanwezig en functioneerden naar behoren.

Het toilet spoelde niet goed door. De veringen van de matras waren versleten .

"Cosy and friendly"

Lovely, warm and cosy hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Comfy bar, very good restaurant. Comfy bed and warm room, which given it was early January was important! The location is delightful, good views over the Esk estuary and in the village of Ravenglass, the station 10 mins walk (we travelled by train) away. The Ravenglass and Eskdale heritage railway also gas its home here. Muncaster castle not far away as well as several other historic or outdoor sites.

Beautiful hotel, staff lovely, location great, food fabulous.

The only little gripe was the 9.00 finish for breakfast.
