המיקום היה נחמד מאד בלב הרובע ההיסטורי .

לא אהבנו שהיינו צריכים להיסחב עם המטען שלנו לאורך רחובות שלמים שכידוע המדרכה שם היא לא הדבר הכי נוח בעולם . בכדי להגיע למלון . לא היה קומקום בחדר דבר שהיינו מצפים ממלון ברמה כזאת . הייתה עמדת קפה עם מכונת אספרסו בלובי אבל שוב ללא קומקום .

De ligging van het hotel in het historisch centrum, aan gezellige pleintjes van Guimaraes, met veel terrasjes en restaurants. De belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden zijn op loopafstand te bereiken bijv. het kasteel, het paleis en de kabelbaan naar Monte de Penha.

Je krijgt een tijdslot voor het ontbijt omdat de ontbijtruimte beperkt is. Het restaurant bij het hotel zou ook een 3 of 4-gangen diner kunnen aanbieden in plaats van 5 of 10 gangen. Geen waterkoker of Nespresso apparaat op de kamer.

Beautiful hotel in the square. Wonderful welcoming staff.

The only negative was the noise at closing time for the bar/restaurants in the square. Because of the narrow street and stone buildings the noise can travel. Only lasted a few minutes.
