Very friendly welcome. It was even noted that it was my birthday and a plate of delicious little delicacies was placed in our room. This gesture was much appreciated. The breakfasts were good and the room comfortable although quite dark.

Music in the square went on very late so we had to close the window. AC was available.

Great location, walkable to the lovely, rich history of Guimaraes. Hotel is beautifully decorated and the room was spacious. For Breakfast: we would appreciate natural yogurt without sugar, more selection of fruits and nuts and a larger omlette. Food was very good and beautifully presented, but could be a bit more generous with their proportions.

Room was very stuffy., we tried the a/c but it didn't cool off the space. When we checked out we were told we needed to let the front desk know to switch the unit from heat to a/c. There should be a note in the room to indicate this or let guests know during the check-in process.
