Sol Torremolinos - Don Marco Adults Recommended

Loved the renovations to the hotel, this was our third year staying at Marco, and we love it. Loved the changes made to one of the pools too. Only thing I can fault is the WiFi, can never seem to connect to it properly. But otherwise, superb hotel. We will be back again next year!

Fantastic hotel. Everything was wonderful. Fantastic location.

Booked the Don Marco as we had stayed here previously. Went for bed and breakfast option. Close to the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Room was noisy as it was near the lifts and every morning we were awoken by the cleaners before 9am. Felt more tired leaving than when we arrived. Had to have maintenance call to the room on four occasions; three times because the safe deposit box would not open and once because the wardrobe door came off the roller track and got jammed. Food is no longer served in the Don Marco so we had to go to the Pablo or Pedro for breakfast. Breakfast in the Pablo is chaotic, although better in the Pedro (less chaotic and better layout) there was often a queue for seats to eat inside. Wouldn’t have minded eating breakfast outside if there were more umbrellas. The room in general was clean, although there were a couple of occasions where we received stained towels. Staff were very friendly and always helpful.

We got an ocean view room with a nice balcony...had a great time soaking up the pretty views. Rooms had been updated with new bedding, curtains, chair upholstery, etc. and we’re very clean. Bed was very comfortable and large for a double. We had a great time at the hot tub/pools and were allowed to check out late for a small fee to enjoy them further. Breakfast was very delicious with a huge variety of good items to choose from. Would definitely return! Only recommendation is to make the regular swimming pools warmer...they were quite chilly!

The Don Marco has been refurbished many on the outside with the restaurant moved to the Don Pedro,I have to admit I liked the old postion but the new restaurant is very good. The avairy has been removed much the my partner Maria's dismay. Some of the refurbishment is still on going.

Great hotel complex, vast sunbathing areas. Very modern rooms, excellent food. Staff very good.

We were very happy with this hotel and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Only negatives were mattress was very hard on the bed,we should have appreciated a kettle in the room,and found the breakfast coffee tasteless. That said everything else about our stay was wonderful and we should definitely recommend this hotel ,and would hope to return for future holidays.
