Nice people . Good location .

Hard to moderate heated tile floor. Either very cold floor or too hot bedroom. Had to use bedroom windowsill for toiletries which wouldn’t fit on tiny bathroom shelf.

Excellent. Lovely staff. Good choices for breakfast and good quality. Really enjoyed our stay. the bed was super comfy .

A lovely old and tastefully maintained property with very good newer build rooms behind. Breakfast was very good and all of the staff were very friendly.

A wonderful warm, friendly hotel. The staff were excellent, the food delicious and the atmosphere very welcoming. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with lovely squishy pillows which were a dream to sleep on.

The room was cold when we arrived, it was also cold on the following day. We did mention this to reception who said that the wind had blown the gas boiler light out……. Sadly it did mar our stay. Other small additions would really help to make the room more ‘user friendly’ 1, would be to supply a shower cap. There is only an overhead shower, no slider head which makes it impossible to not get your hair wet. 2. would be to provide extra sockets & suitable usb ( both types) ports for phone & computer charging by the bed. The WiFi wasn’t great in our room either! An essential. The last and so mewhat annoying negative was the sound proofing. We could literally hear every single word from the next room as clear as a bell! I’m sure that they could hear us too. A real shame as everything else about the hotel was lovely, however the cold, the noise from the next room ( they were only chatting on an phone) and no adequate charging points sadly let it down slightly.

Sunday lunch and the following morning breakfast were excellent. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The room we stayed in was excellent. All in all a very pleasant stay.

We didn't find anything we didn't like.
