Black Rock Oceanfront Resort

Start with the obvious - hotel is in an absolutely incredible location. The views are incredible, trails are right next to the hotel and city center is walkable. The hotel itself is also beautiful, clean and includes all amenities you may want, including washer and dryer! The staff is super kind and helpful. The only downside is we couldn’t stay there longer.

View from the room was perfect! Bed was comfortable. High ceiling and a good conditioning system make room fulfilled with a fresh air.

Le bar était fermé et il n y avait pas de lieu pour prendre un café ou retrouver quelqu’un autour d’un verre. Le restaurant gardait les fenêtres ouvertes alors qu’il faisait glacial. On a donc dîné dans un courant d’air, ne nous motivant pas à passer une seconde soirée. Nous sommes partis un jour plutôt car en cas de pluie, il n’y a rien à faire (le spa était complet, la piscine extérieure est chauffée à 20 degrés et est minuscule). La réceptionniste m’a dit qu elle allait voir avec son manager s’il pouvait nous rembourser, mais je n’ai eu aucune nouvelle. Au final, très beau lieu, personnel est très gentil, mais on vous sourit et on ne change rien (on avait demandé si on pouvait fermer les fenêtres du restaurant et cela n a pas été fait).

It didn’t have a swimming pool. The restaurant was uninspiring . Seafood risotto was average
