The Bell Hotel

The Bell Hotel is in a lovely location, room was very clean and comfortable, food was very nice and staff very accommodating.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The location is beautiful and calm, the breakfast was really good and the room was spacious, bright, comfortable and cosy.

I have stopped at the hotel on a number of occasions, can't always get a room as fully booked which says alot about the place. Its rated as 3 * which I believe to be a fair rating however the staff are friendly and the restaurant/bar is excellent.

Nothing bad to report,

A comfortable bed. There was a small balcony with a large french window opening out onto it. This provided some ventilation during the very hot weather (30 degrees C). Good size shower. Pleasant dining room. Good breakfast. Wide menu choice for dinner, which was very tasty (Fried squid and Caesar's Salad) with a good wine list and plenty of choice of beers.

No air conditioning which made sleeping difficult in 30+ degrees. No lift makes life difficult if you have heavy bags to carry upstairs. Car parking is very limited at the hotel. Nearby public car park can be busy and result in a long walk from the hotel.
