Check in was rediculous. Waited a long time to even see an employee. Went down later to lounge for drinks and dinner (hours 4-11pm) no one was around. Even held out to see if anyone was there. Went across street instead. Came back to hotel and lounge was now open for drinks and dinner (7pm ish) Had drinks and visited. Had scheduled hot springs at 8pm. Before leaving was told be open till 11pm. Went to soak. Back to lounge at about 8:50 pm . Now closed apparently. Asked front desk, says bar across street open (WHAT) . Hours of operation should be set in stone. We wanted to stay there because of the charm but also didn’t have to leave to enjoy what we wanted. Upset went to our room decided to watch TV and go to sleep. Well guess what, tv don’t work. We were very disappointed in the staff at this place. Obviously don’t care about clients returning. Or treating clients like they are the reason they are employed.

I can’t say enough good about our staying at the Riverside Inn. Dave, the concierge, was awesome. Our room was great, and the bed very comfortable. Our shower had the best water pressure. I wish mine at home was that good. Our dinner OMG. It was a fine dining experience. The food was exquisite. Every bite was a yum. I highly recommend eating there.

Excellent meal, excellent service provided by Will. Great atmosphere I recommend you give it a try. Our waiter Will took excellent care of us. We will return soon!!

Mostly wanted to relax and enjoy doing nothing. We hiked and enjoyed the meals the inn provided us. The steaks were very good and dessert worth it! The rooms clean and I feel a homey vibe there. The place is set up great. I like that you have a private pool to yourself and 3 to choose from. Pool 2 was my favorite. I liked that it had natural light coming in but totally private. It had deeper parts and then shallow ones. Easy to get in and out of. The staff was amazing and because of the time change they let us check in early. This was my second stay here.

'Breakfast ' was a disappointment, not a Breakfast more like continental breakfast.

The staff here are all very friendly and full of jokes. Food at the restaurant downstairs was fabulous, and the bar offered a generous pour of wine. One important thing they should note on their breakfast menu is that they DO have a gluten-free option. I came prepared with my own food, since their GF food wasn't advertised. It was a lovely surprise to get a tasty GF quiche!

Being an older facility, it's in need of some maintenance/TLC, which I believe is coming in spring, 2026.
