Riverside Hot Springs Inn & Spa - Adults Only

Friendly, helpful staff. Interesting, rustic place to stay with lots of history, lots of local bars and shops with good food within walking distance.

Would have loved a mini fridge in our room. Otherwise pretty perfect place to stay!

Pictures seemed to show a stand-alone Inn. It is squeezed among so many other places including a bar that carried on its singing into the next calendar day both night we stayed. The noisy room AC drowned some of it out. Party people may not mind. You have to share a small parking lot with the restaurant. Tight for every business there. It wasn't for us. Better outdoor photos may help others decide.

We stayed for one night on our way back from Rushmore on a road trip. Our plan was to stay next to the hot pools in Lava Hot Springs since we got online tickets to use that facility. The Riverside Inn is a historic property conveniently located with a friendly staff. It wears its age well but it is part of the experience. It doesn’t have elevator or luggage cart however the staff offered help with our bags which was very nice. Dave went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed in the property. We tried their Portneuf Grille&Lounge and were amazed with the espresso drink prepared by Will. The breakfast was cooked to order and delicious, thanks to Colter and Alexa for making it so enjoyable. Overall we had a great time at the Riverside Inn.

It was beautiful, clean, close to the hot pools and Main Street

The air conditioner was portable and broke our first night.

Excellent. Clean and polite service. Pools are really good.

The private mineral baths were awesome!! The bed was comfortable. The water pressure was great in the shower!!

No blow dryer in the room.
