Wasn’t the best reception at the desk when we arrived. Room was fine. There needs to be room darkening shades on the door. Too bright.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Whitney’s inn for a Valentine’s Day / Presidents’ Day weekend getaway and it was so perfect! We skied at Black mountain two days and it was so easy to get to and from the inn to the slopes. The inn itself was really quaint and cute. There’s also the shovel handle pub right nearby which was a great vibe. Whitney’s inn also offers services and amenities at the Christmas farm inn which we didn’t use but was still nice to have! We will definetly be coming back and loved our stay!

"Room extremely small"

1st lets start with the good part of our stay. The inn was clean and staff very friendly. The restaurant had decent food. now the bad... our room was very, very small and was furnished with a large queen bed,1 side table and 1 small dresser. You could not sit anywhere except the bed. Bathroom while clean was very small and had no countertops to put stuff on. Online it stated that access to indoor pool and hot tub. They were a mile or two down the road at a sister property. Would not stay here again.

The room was clean. The lobby and seating arra was clean and homey. Staff was polite and courteous. The Bathroom was old and really small.

This Inn is in a beautiful place. The owner was so nice and did everything she could to make our stay comfortable. My only complaint is the pictures online didn’t match the way the room looked and there were a couple of broken things in the room.
