Pirate's Pointe Resort

The little cottages were recently remodelled. They were adorable. There is a nice pool and a pontoon available for guests to use. There are deep sea fishing easily available on site. The resort was not in the city nor near city activities but there is plenyy of restaurants and activities near by!!!

My FAVORITE stay of our trip! This property was amazing my only negative is that I wish we could have stayed longer than two days. The staff was friendly. The pool was fabulous. Our room was perfect, clean, and quiet, and had a bonus rooftop patio that was great. Do not let the trailer park ( it was a nice one ) scare you. This is a gated oasis on the water. A true gem.

This was a nice property by the water. I took a walk to the dock and got to enjoy some birds. The parkling is convenient right outside the cottage. I was called multiple times regarding check nn. This is a practice some properties use in order to not staff the office. It is not my favorite. I arrived at the property between 6 and 7 pm on a Friday. The office was closed. I went to check in at 815 Saturday morning and no one was at the office. I had to interrupt my visit with family to return to the property in the afternoon in order to sign paperwork. I checked out very early Sunday morning.

Check in was smooth and easy. The resort had an ice cooler with a bag per day per guest which we really liked. Entire resort was clean and kept up. Rooms were cozy and when our light bulb in the kitchen went out we went dow to the office and it was fixed when we returned to thw room later

When I visit the area, I look first for whether this property is available. It is always clean, cute, comfortable and quiet. My dogs are happy and safe here, using the fenced patio. The folks who run the property are friendly, and it is evident how hard they work to make sure everything is right for their guests. Recommend this little oasis wholeheartedly!

I feel compelled to write a review to potentially save others from some trouble and money. The motel itself is in a decent location and appears quaint. The trouble I had was with the owner and the way this property is managed. I booked a room for a few nights several months in advance for my mother, my niece and myself. I then tried canceling a week after booking due to an extreme circumstance and gave the hotel 2 months notice. The hotel refused a refund and told me the reason is because I blocked others from being able to book, even though I only held on to the room for a week. If you book at this resort and need to cancel for any reason, regardless of your situation, regardless of how much notice you give, you will still be charged full price. The owners lack professionalism, empathy and understanding. It was a nightmare communicating with them and I would not recommend this place especially if you are from out of town. I LOVE to support small businesses and entrepreneurs, but unfortunately, this one is not good and you would be better off sticking with a chain hotel. This motel kept my money for a service that I did not recieve. Don't let the same happen to you, beware and think twice!

We truly enjoyed our stay here we caught 2 big snooks and a huge red fish. Everyone was friendly, easy check in. Bed was comfortable, will definitely stay again!

Our stay was excellent. The cottage was nice and clean. The bed was comfy. The staff was so nice to us. Lynn was so helpful with my last minute stuff. Fishing charter was set up by lynn and the captain was excellent too. We met the owners they were so kind. Even the other guest that were staying there was so friendly. We will definitely be back!
