Pirate's Pointe Resort

Very quiet and peaceful! Clean rooms and great tropical landscaping. Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful property and cute small homes to stay in with access to waterway if you bring a boat. We got upgraded to a recently refurbished home with rooftop access but is useless for view or usage. Bathroom tile very slippery after shower, rug was not made for bathroom as they slid after floor was wet. Safety hazzard there for those not sure on their feet. Mattress was terrible and kitchen was stocked with necessary items but non stick would do wonders for cooking abilities. Area had no options for dining out, had to drive outside Ruskin to get food.

A great place to just get away and relax. The cottage we stay in was adorable, very clean. The pool area was quiet and very clean. Had a great stay!! The management is very helpful with information when asked.

We LOVED our stay. What a find—so relaxing, charming, friendly, and accommodating. I was so glad to have found Pirate’s Pointe. If we were boat owners, it would be just about perfection, as it is set up so perfectly for them. Since we are landlubbing beach goers, it was mainly just a night’s rest for us rather than the point of our recreation. And we loved it.

We liked having our own small house basically. It had a small community feel and everyone there working and staying we’re nice. I also enjoyed that pets were allowed (even though we hadn’t brought ours) and they were all friendly. The cat roaming around enjoyed being loved in and didn’t over stay it’s welcome. They got us into our room 3 hours before normal check-in, which was very nice and helpful. The electric outlets were loose in some areas. 1 didn’t have a cover but it was behind the headboard of the bed. Only 1 tv but you’re supposed to be spending time outside not in. They had outdoor activities but no vending machines for late night snacks so plan ahead. If using maps, go down 19th street not 18th. Ours corrected itself after 3-4 times returning.

This is a beautifully serene location nestled on the river. Very nice cottages with a patio sitting area attached. Nicely landscaped property. All of this sits on the river for kayaking, canoeing or fishing. You feel very welcomed from the moment you are arrive.

The owners are very friendly and take time to make sure you have what you need. The cottages are very cute and clean. They make you feel like you are home

Pirates Point was AMAZING

I liked the location on the river, room cleanliness, the staff was efficient and friendly. I wasn't aware that there was no daily housekeeping. I would stay there again.

liked everything about the resort... location, look and feel of Old Florida, on the water [river, not gulf] , pet-friendly, updated interior, wi-fi, flat screen, terrific family amenities... heated pool, etc. Most of all, we loved the mattress - super comfortable. Sadly, the only thing we did NOT like was the 'weather' !! it was in the 40's, but not fault of owners...gladly return in future.
