Beautiful property in a great location

The property was even better than the pictures showed. I stayed in a single room and it was more spacious than I was expecting. Staff went above and beyond to support and ensure my stay was comfortable (they even arranged a little snack box for me when I went on a tour they helped arrange). The location was convenient, yet quiet. Restaurant was divine. I felt safe and supported as a single woman traveling by herself. HIGHLY recommend and will return.

This hotel is amazing, incredible views from the terrace, immaculately kept, and the staff are so incredibly thoughtful, friendly, and kind. The staff really take this place to the next level, everyone from front desk to cleaners are incredibly helpful.

Amazing hotel with a great, helpful staff. The location is perfect and walkable for all the main attractions in Positano. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Positano.

We stayed at Hotel Savoia for two nights, and on the last evening at around 7:00 PM, we walked into our room and found a woman (housekeeping) going through our luggage and personal belongings. There was no housekeeping cart, and the room had already been cleaned earlier in the day. When we immediately reported this to the front desk, we were shocked by their reaction. Instead of expressing concern, they were rude and defensive, and even said, “But was there anything missing?” — as though nothing mattered since we had caught her in time. This was a clear violation of our privacy and made us feel unsafe. The complete lack of accountability or follow-up was just as disappointing as the incident itself. Future guests: secure your belongings and be cautious. This was not what we expected from a hotel of this reputation.

Beautiful hotel with amazing views!

Such a lovely hotel with the friendliest staff. They couldn’t have been happier to see a child and very accommodating. Hotel is in the centre, a fair walk down to the marina but still ok. The only problem is trying to park outside as there’s no space to exit the taxi with luggage.

Magical. I just saw the recent review for this hotel and those guests didn't do their research on the area so I had to review. This is the best location in the town IMO. Positano is hilly and yes it is a walk to the beach - it is the nature of the town - but this is way closer to the beach than most. The hotel is a family owned boutique hotel and is right amid everything you would want in Positano including stores, restaurants and gregarious people. It is part of the Amalfi coast experience. If you want silence, go stay in the woods. WE LOVED our recent stay. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and my teenage daughter said it was the most charming hotel of our over 2 week European vacay - and we stayed in Alsace FR, Paris, the French Riviera and Lucerne Switzerland. Our room had the most beautiful view. Breakfast was terrific. The housekeeping staff were amazing and our room was spotless.

Great location

This really is a 2-3 star hotel, not 4. It was very very loud. Our hotel room was directly above the only road in town so it was a very busy street. There was constant road noise from truck deliveries and garbage collection very early in the morning to the shouts from crowds of pub crawlers very late at night. All day long motor cycles and car horns beeping in gridlock traffic. If you opened your windows they you got car and truck exhaust smell. The breakfast was dreadful. None of the fruit was ever ripe, the meats were low quality and the baked goods seemed stale. The nuts and seeds were stale. You could not serve yourself coffee so you are limited to just the small amount they bring you so you still have to go out for coffee. No in-room or self service coffee. No one was ever in the restaurant at dinner so we never tried it. The room itself was adequate. Nothing luxurious or special. The heat didn’t work so we were pretty cold at night. The bathroom was large but the shower was tiny with poor water pressure. We couldn’t get the overhead shower to turn on so we were just using the hand held spout. The location was a little disappointing. It was a much longer walk to the beach than we expected. I would not recommend this place.
