Palace Hotel Zingonia

We stayed here for 9 nights as my son was a on a soccer camp. Basic rooms, I booked the junior suite thinking it would have coking facilities as that's what the room showed at the time of booking (a stove top) but when we arrived it was covered and no longer working which was disappointing. Rooms were clean, showers tiny even I struggled to fit and I am not big. Breakfast was included every morning and this was a highlight, it was substantial with a lot of variety. 4 star in Italy is not like 4 star in Australia, this hotel was clean and convenient but I would rate it 3 star. Staff were friendly and spoke English well. About a 30 minute walk to the train station and then 15 mins on the train to get to Bergamo. Plenty of parking and supermarket is within walking distance.

I have visited this hotel a couple of time during the last 5 months and the best description I can give is that is an average hotel with its prons and cons. What I liked: The modern rooms, the cleaning quality, the staff on the restaurant. What was average: The reception staff ( there were some nice workers and some not so nice) and the location (you need a car 100%). What i didnt like: The internet was awful in the 2 rooms I was ( one stay one week, another stay 2 weeks). I was there on a bussiness trip and both times I had to connect to the mobile phone to be able to send emails. The air conditioning was not reliable.

La camera junior suite è decisamente grande, molto comoda per 4 persone. Ottimo che ci siano 2 bagni e 1 TV x camera. Ben fatta la colazione. A Zingonia non si va certo per il paesaggio, ma per comodità ai collegamenti stradali. Molto cortese il personale. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo

Ho prenotato un pernottamento nella struttura perché sul sito veniva precisato che la distanza dall'aeroporto era di circa 11km e c'era la presenza di una navetta per il trasferimento. In realtà la struttura dista più di mezz'ora e non è presente nessuna navetta. A causa di questo disagio abbiamo passato la notte in aeroporto, nonostante avessi contatto la struttura per esporre il problema. Sconsigliatissimo

Ho trovato la camera sporca con cibo avariato in vaschette male odorante con insetti che uscivano dall'armadio! Ho dovuto cambiare stanza…

Posizione hotel molto compoda per spostamenti in zona. Camere silenziose, personale cordiale e gentile. Checkin veloce. Colazione adeguata, nel rispetto dei protocolli sicurezzza Covid.

Soggiorno di lavoro in piena emergenza Covid, niente da eccepire, ottimo servizio camera molto grande e confortevole, comodo parcheggio.

Perfekt hotell før man skal fly tidlig hjem fra Bergamo. Parkering på utsiden, og frokosten var klar allerede 05:30. Topp.

Let me start by saying, there was nothing wrong with this hotel. The room was clean and parking was free. The receptionist was efficient for check-in and check-out. However, if you are expecting luxury because of its 4-star rating you’ll be disappointed. The rooms are very spartan with zero style and the downstairs reception hall gives a similar sterile and cold impression. And you had better like (or at least tolerate!) noisy children. Because they’ve worked out a deal with nearby Leolandia the hotel is full of families with small children (plus we had a traveling soccer team staying at the hotel). For us it was fine because we were traveling with kids ourselves but had we not have been it would have been annoying. Also, in the elevator it mentioned that you could get the same package deal for Leolandia if you book directly with the hotel (without pre-paying and with a flexible cancellation policy). All in all I’d stay here again but would probably look for other options first.
