Maison Fleurie, A Four Sisters Inn

Great walkable location, nice large rooms with an excellent bed and good linens.

We were very disappointed with this one of the 4 Sisters chain. We have stayed in two others - the Coachman’s inn in Carmel just prior to this - and loved them. At the Coachman’s the staff were friendly and seemed to really care about our time there, the food was wonderful (I bought the cookbook because the breakfast was so delicious) and the room was spacious and comfortable. When we arrived at the Maison Fleurie we were told that we could not have the specific bed that we booked (king) and were given a room with a queen bed that literally took up the whole room. The staff were not only indifferent to us (and our dismay) but hardly nodded to us as we passed. It was such a difference for those at the Coachman’s that we wondered if it was the same chain of hotels. On top of this, the appetizers were ho hum and the breakfast could not compare (cold, tasteless burritos!). Not the place to experience a 4 Sisters Inn!

This bed and breakfast is the perfect location in Yountville. We stayed with 4 other couples and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. If king rooms are available I would suggest going for the bigger rooms as the queen suites were quite small. We took advantage of the out door hot tub and balcony with fire pits. Cozy fire in the morning with breakfast and mid afternoon wine and cheese. We can’t wait to go back
