This was a good B property. They had a pool, which I didn’t discover until I was leaving, I would’ve checked that out! Great location, easy to get in and out of. I felt safe in a little cluster of hotel buildings.

"A comfortable hotel but grumpy staff"

It was in a good location close,to the Vicksburg Military park. The room was spacious and the bed really comfortable.

The staff need some training in customer relations and charm. When we arrived the receptionist did not lift her head for five minutes whilst I stood at the desk. It was twenty to three but she would not do check in until three on the dot. There was no welcome and no smile. In addition she looked a mess. Not professional at all. The woman in the breakfast room was also very dour and curt. The breakfast was adequate but the hot food looked horrible - shrivelled up sausages and frozen omelettes. I expected something a little better for the money.

Location of the hotel was excellent for our stay.

The rooms were not clean. Walls were nasty, back of toilet in one of our 4 rooms did not fit correctly; the toilet was rounded, and the lid was rectangle. We could see the water as it ran into the tank. We used the pullout couch and there was quite a bit of trash under it. The drawers were dirty in the dresser.

Everything! Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was TOP TIER! Coffee in rooms and at breakfast could have been a lot better though.
