Albion Hotel

Room was very bright and giving onto back gardens. Bed was very good and the bathroom area has an excellent shower. The room and the rest of the hotel were very clean and the lady at the reception extremely helpful and kind.

There is not much space for luggage (we had two suitcases) in the room. Otherwise a great little hotel...

Easy, convenient location, 2 mins from the kelvin bridge station which is the subway, which is so handy to get around! Clean rooms equipped with tea, coffee and GREAT hot chocolate! Everything we needed. Staff were so friendly and accomodating. Will be back!

The property was in a great location and we loved the small boutique feel of it. It was was lovely. The stairs were the hardest part for us as they are spiral.

The spiral stairs weren’t as initially problematic because there were two strong men working on the exterior of the hotel when we arrived. But when we were leaving on the third day in the morning, the men had finished their job and didn’t return so they weren’t available. My sister and I , both in our 70s, couldn’t navigate our suitcases two flights up to get our suitcases down. So the receptionist, Liz, said she’d give it a try. But in the meantime, after getting them down halfway, we found a younger, stronger guest who helped Kim. Thank goodness!!! Also, The pillows on my bed were quite odd when the pillowcase slipped off a bit and I believe they were why I needed to buy a histamine the next day.They too worn !

Great small, quiet are, in between the city and the hydro which we were there for the prodigy. We got flowers for the staff too

Perfect location, central yet in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking the River Kelvin, lovely staff, excellent breakfast, spotless room and, above all, a firm mattress on the bed!

The only draw-back for me was that I arrived by car and parking is on-street and expensive between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
