The Wildwood Hotel

A very nice hotel in a classical style, in a very fresh looking neighborhood. Several shops and restaurants in walking distance, a police central nearby (if you're concerned of evening safety), very quiet. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. The bed was with a memory mattress (I suppose), pretty comfortable. Clean good towels and linen. Convenient access to a public parking garage (free) from the 1st floor - but you'll need your room key to open the door, so on check-in park near main entrance first.

Very mixed feelings here - on one hand all the nice things I mentioned before, but then some things are worse than you get in significantly cheaper chain hotels.. The breakfast is very scarce, you get instant frozen sandwiches to microwave if you want something warm, or waffles. Oh, and the waffles - they were spicy like chili pepper, may be that was. part of Halloween prank, but why not offer a normal food option? And the laundry was for a charge - $4 is not a huge sum, and reception is ready to split your bills to quarters needed, but how can chain hotels afford to "swallow" this cost, and this 4 star plus venue not?

The place was clean, the front desk was friendly and the noise level was perfect. Was able to get a good nights sleep, although the beds are a little to soft for my taste, but everything was perfect>

Beautiful Room , well appointed and large space. Nice and quiet area with undercover parking.
