Laurel Grove Inn on the South

Laurel Grove is a beautiful B&B set on the shores of the South River near Annapolis. The setting is very relaxing and the proprietor was welcoming and hospitable. The B&B is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Annapolis, so you can relax at the B&B in the morning and evening and still easily spend time enjoying the attractions of historic Annapolis. This was our second visit at Laurel Grove and we highly recommend.

Beautiful property on South River, extremely friendly and welcoming hosts, spotlessly clean large room and fabulous full breakfast with plenty of healthy options and great coffee.

Beautiful waterfront setting with incredible comfort. Tiffany , the owner and innkeeper is a gifted cook and so very generously provided snack foods and heaping amounts of breakfast foods. She is charming and her home is warm and comfortable.

The view and location was so beautiful even this time of year. The breakfast was amazing.

Tiffany and Tom are great hosts -- they made us feel right at home. Their home is in a perfect location -- we want to come back in warmer weather to kayak on the river right behind the house. Plenty of room to relax in the common areas inside and out. Quick drive to Annapolis, happy we stayed a bit out of town.

This place is great if you are looking for a comfy, home feeling. The lady who cared for us is so sweet and took great care to make sure we were well feed and taken care of the whole time! Hanging with her more than made up for the few cobwebs and dust in our room that are probably typical of an older house that is practically in country with the woods and on the water. The home was beautiful and comfortable and the staff and other guest were also very nice! It was great to come to breakfast and be able to chat with everyone, family style! It was so relaxing having the dogs and birds in the home also! I didn't mind and greatly enjoy that! We were even able to see some deer grazing in the yard when we woke up! It was very nice! Conveniently located close to the Naval Academy which was our destination. Easy to get back and forth and the lady caring for us even gave us a map and drew on the directions to and from. That was very helpful! If you like a big home-style breakfast and home feel and don't mind the pets and occasional cobweb then this is the place for you!

Waterfront, expanded private residence operated by proud owners - could not be better.

Tiffany was an excellent host. Breakfast was wonderful and we got to enjoy it out on the terrace. The view is beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed wine one evening and there is always something available to eat in the kitchen along with coffee. I would recommend this place to anyone. We hope to return in the summer.

Comfortable, relaxed, interesting, very pleasant on the eyes. Remote location near a busy metro area
