Best Western Plus Olathe Hotel

Stayed for two nights and was very pleased. Everything was clean and the front desk friendly. I did not get to try the breakfast so I can’t speak to that. I did have dogs which I love being able take with me on trips and there were plenty of grassy seas to take them for walks. Very handy access to highways and shopping. I would definitely stay again.

Nice rooms. Breakfast satisfactory. Didn't know the hotel was being renovated. Whirlpool for 4 people max. Front deck person gave us keys which wouldn't open our door twice. Frustrating.

Good - helpful and friendly staff with great breakfast options Bad - pool pictures online deceiving… it was filthy with obscenities written into the scum! Hot tub was stagnant and yellow filled with truckers drinking beer. Ugly - TOXIC MOLD!!! I tried switching rooms after it nearly knocked me out after walking into the 3rd floor room. They kindly switched me to a 2nd floor room that stunk just as bad. The stairwells were also reaking of mold. One bed was good and the other was horrible. Two holes you sunk into - but I saw recently they started tossing some mattresses outside. Breakfast and staff were great, but toxic mold makes it a steer clear. I honestly can’t figure out why the reviews were so good…

The cleaning and kitchen staff were friendly and hard working, the hotel/rooms were in good condition. But in the 3 days we stayed there only one front desk staff was friendly and above robotic. When we checked in we weren't greeted other than to ask if we were checking in and giving the run-down of rules and directions. Not even a smile. It was disappointing. We weren't looking for a best friend, but a smiling face after a full travel day would've made a world of difference.

Hard to communicate with staff. Couldn't get in our room . The key wasnt working . Husband went down twice. I finally called and had the guy come up. He changed our room. Never apologized for the inconvenience. The jacuzzi is very dangerous, getting in and out of there is no stairs. No sign to keep kids out of the jacuzzi . Staff shuts down the breakfest on the dot. So they can eat. Hotel is aged. The bed and pillows where great. Room was clean.

Is a good place, nice location and room.

The hotel temperature warm. Carpeting was dirty, stained. The room was hot. The thermostat did not work well. It would shut off then room got hot or it would stick open and the room got freezing. A/C was noisy, hard to sleep. No sheets or pillows for the sleeper sofa. The room was not cleaned well. I do not plan on staying at Best Western again. I do not know what it had the word PLUS after its name. There was nothing extra to it. The pictures on the website must have been taken when it was new.

It was good. Not excellent but good. It was clean and well kept. Breakfast was very good. Several options.
