Equidistante tra Catania e Acireale, ottimo sia per turismo che per lavoro. Comodo il garage sotterraneo che, tramite ascensore, ti portava direttamente in camera o nella hall.

Where do I start? The courtyard fountains that are rusted and twisted? The Sky television that they don't have, even though they advertise it? The hard as a rock bed, matched only by the harder pillows? The blown lightbulbs in the ceiling that were never fixed? The safe that didn't work? The shower head on the adjustable rail that was broken, so that the water was aimed squarely at my stomach, forcing me to sit in the tub to 'shower'? Or how about the breakfast? Italians make fantastic coffee, but this was some of the worst sludge I have ever tasted. And I won't bother talking about the food. There were building works of some sort going on while I was there, though the hotel does not appear to have had any maintenance in years. They started at 7 am, and continued well into the night, even on Sunday. Avoid at all costs. Oh, and Acitrezza does not have a beach. At all. You can use the lido over the raod, for EUR 6.00 per day, plus EUR 2.00 for a sunbed.
