Hotel Miramar

Great location. No AC. They tried to collect taxes even though I paid them in advance.

Excellent friendly hotel that was easy to find and ideally situated just a few minutes walk (along the paved sea front or along the beach) to the main square. Our advice would be to have a room at the front as it has a balcony with excellent sea views.There is a charge for this but it is well worth it.We could also park our car right outside the front of the hotel (No charge).Our stay was in mid March and the weather was excellent.

This is a great inexpensive hotel less than 10 minute walk from the medina. The staff are all helpful and friendly. One of the receptionists also offers a cooking demonstration at his home which is great. The evening starts with a trip round the local markets where you buy your ingredients and finishes with an authentic home cooked meal.

This hotel is across the street from the beach and the Atlantic. Just 5 minutes outside the Medina walls. Next to the Sofitel luxury hotel. Indoor pool, terrace on third floor for lounging and views. Staff friendly and speak English. Restaurant is good with a good breakfast buffet. A true find is this very beautiful city.

Hotel is well located near the beach and port, is comfortable, and was a good value. A really good choice.

Great location across the road from the beach and only 5 minutes to the medina. No information given by reception so if you want something ask.

The photo of the outside of the hotel do not do it justice. It is a GEM of a hotel and is situated at the beach (across the street with just the beach no buildings to block the view). The staff was extremely courteous, helpful and very respectful. The cleanliness was exceptional. The rooms are very spacious. Our room was on the third floor which is the top floor and where there is a patio/sun roof with chairs and loungers. It is not a huge hotel therefore you get very attentive and personal service. The food was varied and delicious. We were thrilled to have discovered this hotel and would not hesitate to return whenever we are in Essaouira. It is obvious that meticulous attention was given to the decor of every space int he hotel. There is an indoor pool off the lobby and plenty of loungers all around. All the staff was friendly whether it be at the front desk, the dining room or the chambers maids. It is just a short walk from the old city and plenty of restaurants. We sincerely hope to return there one day, Inshallah!

I am going to recomend the hotel to my friends and I will come back there myself. Very close to the beach, quiet, clean, friendly staff. You feel there at home.
