Cute property. Water leak in bathroom. Tv didn’t work.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel à Islamorada à mi-chemin entre Key West et Miami Beach. Même si nous n’avons pas eu le temps, l’hôtel fait parti d’un groupe hôtelier avec deux autres hôtels sur Islamorad dont vous pouvez profiter des espaces (piscines, restaurants…) avec mise à disposition de navettes (mini bus et bateau). Prêt de vélos, kayak et paddle.

Nous étions dans une maison et pas dans une chambre donc pour deux nuits, le ménage n’était pas fait chaque jour. L’état de la maison un peu désuet.

Definitely I will come back!!

Pool had black algae. Food price was expensive for the quality and presentation. The room was in bad shape; the closet door was broken. Shampoo and handwash were watered down, and the mattress was expired. Sixty USD per day was charged as resort fees, disclosed at the end of the stay, when normally you pay that upfront. I really don't know what a 4-star hotel like this would differentiate from a regular motel.

My family had a great stay at La Siesta Resort! The staff was very kind and welcoming; they had everything ready ahead of our stay and even provided us with a free upgrade on the accommodation to boot! The pool and beach/marina area are great spaces and there were beach chairs and umbrellas throughout. The best part of our brief stay was the included kayak and paddleboard rentals, my family of four took advantage of them multiple times. Another great advantage of La Siesta Resort is that it is part of a collection of properties; so you have full access to the Three Waters Resort and Amara Cay Resorts. This greatly expands your dining and activities since you can access the pools and water crafts at each of the resorts. Also they offer a complimentary water taxi and shuttle bus between the properties. Super convenient! We definitely recommend La Siesta Resort and will be back soon!

Writing this while on property and have to share that this resort leaves a lot to be desired. The photos on the resort web site are VERY misleading. Most of the recent negative reviews on here are accurate. My take is the owner(s) has focused all their time, attention and money on upgrading the old Postcard Inn and chosen to let La Siesta fall into decay. Either that, or this place is sorely mismanaged. The beach is no beach, its a trash wasteland and staff does not make any effort to remove any trash on the property. Room service does not exist - after 3 days without a cleaning - after multiple attempts to requests a cleaning - we ended up cleaning ourselves and removing our trash, picking up fresh towels and TP and coffee from the front desk. We're now on day 4 without a cleaning. The room TV and internet service is another big fail. Our TV did not work on first day and requested help, somebody actually came out within hours and got it working. A few hours later, the power surged during a storm and TV/internet was lost again. We requested multiple times to have somebody fix, but 4 days later we're still waiting and have been without tv/internet almost the entire trip. Breakfast in the lobby is $15 for cold eggs and bacon. The coffee, when available, is cold and leftover. The pool is a mess. I haven't seen the pool being cleaned in 4 days. Its full of sand and the concrete is deterioting. Broken tiles are everywhere and a tripping/injury hazard. The only positive is the staff. They seem to try but maybe they dont have the support from above or means to manage this property. But they all seem friendly and willing to help. The reviews are accurate. You might enjoy if you lower your expectations.

Beautiful location on the waterfront with a great size apartment sized room for my family of 5. My children loved all the iguanas walking around

When we arrived about 8pm after a long flight from Miami and a drive there was nowhere to get a wine or cocktail but could walk or drive to sister hotels if needed but would be nice to be able to have one on site.
