Das Pelikan Hotel Schwäbisch Gmünd

Sono tornato a Schwabisch Gmund e ho soggiornato ancora presso questo hotel. Ho trovato una buonissima occasione riguardo al prezzo. Soggiornare qui significa essere al centro della città e potersi spostare comodamente a piedi per le sue vie. Come le altre volte la stanza era abbastanza piccola ma in complesso comoda; unica nota negativa il bagno: molto piccolo, mancava uno specchio decente e l'illuminazione era proprio scarsa. Colazione buona e con molta scelta.

Reception staff all spoke Good English and were very helpful. Good cental location. Underground parking was avalible but was extra at €5.50 (March 2018) perday, which is needed as parking in the area is very limited. Room had really good blackout curtains and bedside charging points. I personally found the bed hard, but that is a personal taste. The room had a basic mini bar.

Overall enjoyable but parking at any city center can be a challenge. Walking is king.

This is a nice and friendly hotel to stay in if you ever find yourself in this part of Germany. I would recommend it and would stay there again. It's a short walk to numerous restaurants and shops, has ample parking, and is overall a good bargain.

I have stayed in this hotel several times, I noticed that this time the place was renewed. Rooms new look are very fresh and elegant, new carpets, etc. The breakfast as always was very good.

Not a great deal of choice in SG. Little bit tired and carpets could do with a clean. Staff really friendly and helpful. Bar food is very reasonable and quite good so don't feel you have to eat out. Barmaid is very good. Breakfast is nothing to write home about though.
