We stayed at the Iowa House for four days. The room was wonderful. It was clean and cozy. The air conditioner made so much less noise than those at hotels. The towels were plentiful and clean. The bathtub had jets. The breakfast was delicious. The Iowa House is so conveniently located near restaurants and the campus. We absolutely loved our stay there and would recommend it to everyone. If I travel to Iowa State again, I will definitely stay at the Iowa House.

Quaint home converted the hotel. Comfortable and clean. Very quiet and private. Adjoins Iowa State campus. Easy access from freeway. Secure and private lodging.

The host is super. The room is full of 90's atmosphere with many midwestern features. But some of them are too old such as the sink counter. I was not able to find the shower converter the first night. That seems a common issue. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

We drive to Minnesota once a year. We won’t stay anywhere else. The staff is friendly and helpful, the location is quiet and within walking distance of restaurants, and it’s an easy drive to get to and from I-35. Highly recommended!
