The service was perfect! Nice hotel staffs and the location near the airport was excellent for me.

Broken pool (kids). They did give a little discount. Loud floor above our room.

We have stayed twice, specifically for the pool and it has been closed both times.

If you're a local living in Anchorage don't bother making a reservation, they won't give you a room anyway. I live in Anchorage and booked a room for one night since I had winterized our house in the afternoon and we were flying out the next morning. After making a reservation 2 weeks earlier we showed up at the hotel and the lady at the front counter took a look at my driver's license and asked if I lived in Anchorage. I said yes. Then she said, "We don't allow locals to stay with us - management policy." Huh? Most hotels - all over the world - have special rates to encourage locals to stay with them. In Hawaii they're called Kama'aina rates. Not this one. What kind of a policy is that? So there we were, tired, hungry, and no room for the night. This was extremely rude and inconsiderate of them. And they're in the hospitality business?? My recommendation - find a different hotel.
