Oxford Inn

The breakfast we had was a McDonalds. It was good.

They didn't have a list of restaurants, shops and events in town or close by towns. This would have been nice.

The staff were very patient & considerate. The facilities weren't flawlessly perfect, but very clean & comfortable. The style of the rooms was pretty neat. A departure from your usual generic motel stylings, but not in a bad way. I grew up in the town it's in & it has been there as long as I can remember (the 80's). The front office did have an "off" smell, but the rooms were clean & smelled fine. No signs of bed bugs or other motel horrors.

I dislike speaking ill of anything, but I had to here. The place was run down, there was mold in our room, and I felt uncomfortable from the moment we opened our door. We ended going some place else for the night.

The junk cars at back of lot and smell when you walked in to lobby.

Definitely NOT as advertised. Stained carpet, rust in sink, broken bathroom door and really old TV made the room seem oppressive. The sheets and bedspread were clean but we'll worn. The "couch" was broken and leaning on one end. The ceiling in the bathroom was stained and peeling. The shower... Was awesome! The microwave was 1972 model. I wouldn't stay there again I think it's positioned to house deer hunters.

My only knock on the motel was lack of explanation/communication about breakfast. I went to the front desk to ask about it on Friday night at around 8pm but no one was there. I rang the doorbell but no one answered.

My friends and I stayed here before a music festival and it was perfect. Everything was clean and there were no hassles. Great value for the price!
