Hotel Colombo

Views, location, convenient to town. Staff friendly and helpful. Need a car to get around, but with the car all is easy, hotel has lots of free parking. One of the island’s three dive businesses located directly on the property.

Breakfast was ok, not great, could be easily improved. Bar staff doesn’t know how to make cocktails at all, and it is not their fault really, perhaps they can get better instructions from management? Could sell a lot more drinks, and it’s a very good idea for this hotel to host a happy hour. Bath towels are a bit thin and worn out. No real toiletries, some soap is all, maybe update those? None of the above is a real problem, just suggestions.

L’hotel è un complesso molto grande , con parecchie camere ma anche grandi spazi in comune . Purtroppo un po’ datato , mobili in camera vecchi e pareti da rinfrescare , ma nel complesso do un giudizio positivo . Infatti hotel pulito , la colazione non è ricca in dolci , come siamo abituati , ma comunque varia e di buona qualità . La piscina molto bella e la camera con vista oceano è un valore aggiunto . Ringrazio lo staff per la gentilezza e affabilità .

Very few of the hotel staff are welcoming or try to give a customer focussed experience. Upon arrival my daughters found two cockroaches in their bedroom and another one was cruising the corridor . The location, breakfast and swimming pool are nice . The bar staff we plainly rude the night of our arrival when we wanted to split the bill between families . I would not recommend this hotel.

La situación.

No corresponde con un hotel de 4* nunca había visto algo igual en todo el planeta. Las instalaciones son antiguas y estropeadas, había cucharachas en la habitación, el baño tenía cortina de plástico, la habitación tenía humedad. El desayuno es muy justo, pero lo peor es que el hotel está viejo, calidad precio es carisimo.
