"Great Place"

10.0

This hotel is part of a gym, so it was peculiar at first but didn't take away from the hotel experience at all. I highly recommend this place and is it around the block from the castle and on the same line as public transit. It was also walking distance to the Jewish Ghetto which ended up being a great place to hang out at night with amazing food. Book now.

"Atlantic hotel an Sports Club"

10.0

A hidden gem. Conveniently located, close to Wawel Castle and the main square. Within walking distance of Jewish Quarter and also the main train and bus stations. Very good gym and squash facilities. Very helpful staff. I had no problems with the noise from squash courts. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Krakow.

"staying at a sport club"

6.0

AS I stated above the front desk were very personable. The room was clean although in my room they had left a bottle of water that had obviously been opened. The room was just that. a place to sleep in. My room was tiny and hard to move around. My traveling companions room was larger but darker. For the price it was fine. For a cheap hotel conveniently located, it fit the bill. There were no frills, the breakfast was certainly adequate. If you want more comfort and ease and a room where you might want to do more than sleep, this is not the hotel for you.

"Small, friendly, good value, good base."

10.0

The hotel and gym (with squash courts) share the same reception. The staff are friendly and assist in any way they can. Rooms are small but modern and the bathroom facilities were good. The location is in amongst shops and restaurants, but offset from the main road through an alley way and small car park. Therefore there was no traffic noise or noise from the streets. Plenty of good places to eat nearby. The breakfast is simple, healthy and a pleasurable experience. Good to have free use of the gym facilities. Overall a pleasurable experience.

"Krakow Kracker"

10.0

Pick up at the airport was good, with Escape 2 Poland; arrived at the Hotel, small, as expected. Staff very polite, spoke very good English. Shown to one of the 2 rooms, the other was not yet ready. The first room had no T.V. and no radio, despite the specs saying there would be. Second room was much larger, had T.V., but not satellite - all Polish channels. Rooms were very clean, showers really good - powerful. As other people have said, breakfast was adequate, no more, especially over the Easter weekend when everything was closed, so choice was very limited. If you go expecting a reasonable continental breakfast, not English (no toaster), then you will not be disappointed. The staff were very polite, smiling, spoke in English for us whenever we approached reception. Slight downside was the wires sticking out of the wall where the T.V. should be; the odd location of the breakfast was o.k. once you got used to it. Overall, good value. (Staff in shops also very polite - they would stop what they were doing and stand at the till ready to serve)

"Great value"

10.0

This was a very nice hotel in embedded within a first rate health club. A little trick to find but you have to walk thru a short alleyway and into a courtyard and there it is. Close to Wawel castle and not too much of a walk - I would guess a mile or so - to the city center square. The staff here were so friendly and helpful - they even let me use their personal laptop when I did not have a computer. Very clean and nice. Breakfast is adequate but not elaborate.

"Four Thumbs Up"

10.0

In a fabulously central location. A stone's throw from the base of Warwel Castle and only a 10-minute walk to both the centre of the old town and the Jewish Quarter. Upon arriving we were a little surprised at the hotel's unconventional setup. Squash courts and a gym take up most of the building. The six hotel rooms seem almost an afterthought - a way of using up extra space. That said - our room was fabulous. Small, but very clean, stylishly renovated, with quality fittings, a comfortable bed and a super shower. Though the temperatures outside were getting close to freezing, our room remained a perfect temperature. With the building set to the rear of a courtyard, we couldn't even hear the traffic from the road. Use of all the gym equipment (except the squash courts) was included in the tariff. Breakfast was great: a buffet with more bread, cold meats, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, pastry and juice than you could poke a stick at. The staff at the front desk spoke excellent English and were, quite possibly, the most helpful and friendly we had ever met. One morning we asked the manager which bus would take us to the salt mines. After much discussion - involving three people and an Internet connection - we got our bus number, a time and the offer of a lift to the nearby station from the cleaning lady. We have raved about the hotel to friends and family since we left Krakow and would definitely recommend it to anyone planning to visit this wonderful city.
