The room we stayed in was nice enough, no issues. Feel like it was an issue to have extra pillows or towels. I'm not sure if there has been a high level of theft or what, but it was odd to me. The place in general was pretty run down, and the playground would probably be better removed. There were more people actually living there than I expected. We were not there for long or much, there were no negative interactions, just was surprised.
Weekend stay with my wife. Great for the price. Person at the front desk was friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again.

Poorly managed poorly maintained
We had family camping less than 4 miles away. Loved the convenience and location of the motel. And, the rate was very fair. Having coffee available in the office long after the breakfast times were over was really appreciated.
If you want to pull out your beach chairs and hang with the local squatters, this is the place for you. Def get what you pay for!
Our experience was very negative. When we arrived later at night, we checked in through a glass window outside. When we got to our room, there were people roaming around by it. Our room smelled musky and was not fully clean. After checking the room, we noticed the windows did not lock, so we did not feel safe. We left the motel that night. When contacting the manager in the morning to cancel the rest of our reservation, he was very rude on the phone. He said there was a policy that he would not cancel weekend dates, but then refused to send the policy through email or tell us where to find the policy. He then said this policy is his own policy and that he tells people on the phone when they book with him. Fortunately, Expedia helped us to get refunded for one of the three nights we paid for.

Nothing special. Good price for area if you do not need much in the way of amenities.
Low expectations, but it turned out very nice and clean little hotel. They even had some kind of a breakfast bananas, bagels, serial. Other hotels would advertise this as breakfast. This hotel didn't, so it was a nice surprise.
