Chisun Hotel Koriyama

was really nice. I was surptised about how well it was maintained and how nice the staff was. I really liked it. The bed was terrible as it was too hard for us spoiled americans. Over all the atmosphere was great and the neighborhood nice. It was not hard to find and very close to the train station. I would recommend it to people who want an off the main drag view of the city and get to see what it and it's people are really like. Nice!!!.

I have stayes in hotels all over japan and these ones are smaller than most of the singles. But clean and single is fine for 1 person. Can't beat location

Overall it is a good hotel. Breakfast was good. Hard to find initially, but once located it was very convenient. Only real complaint is that the bed is very hard and one male employee was very rude.

Maybe one of the nearest hotels from the station. Delicious and wider variety of Buffet Breakfast is served from 6:30. If you are businessperson, maybe good for you. Standard room is a little bit small with small bathtub, but, Deluxe room has enough space and bathtub.

Read some so-so reviews before booking this hotel. In the end, it was much better than expected. Excellent location, larger than average rooms, and comfortable stay generally. Only disappointment was the slightly lower than average cleanliness of the rooms (we had 2).

For anyone on a budget who needs to stay overnight in Koriyama, I recommend the Chisun Hotel. It is an older business hotel, but it is well kept, the place is clean and the beds/pillows are comfortable. I really liked that they had a 'women only' floor and the room came with a few nice 'ladies' amenities. Booking early, with breakfast, and including taxes, was less than 7000 yen. I cannot remark on the air conditioner and/or heater as I did not use either. The hotel is a little 'rough around the edges', but for the price, that is easy to overlook.

This hotel is very nice. It’s near the station KORIYAMA about 5min. on foot. Staffs were polite. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was so-so. Coffee was bad, over roast. Price is reasonable.

Early check-ins or late check-outs will incur substantial fees. The rooms on different floors smell -- it's a combination of a sulfur and sewage smell. These are very basic and tiny rooms, typically for a budget Japanese hotel but unless every other decent hotel in Koriyama is full there is no reason to stay here.

Hotel is just 2 to 3 minutes walk from the JR Koriyama station. Room is a bit run down and we find big spider web hang at back of the entrance door!

A typical Japanese business hotel. Small but clean rooms, small but well-appointed bathroom. Buffet breakfast was so-so. Big advantage is that it is only a three minute walk to the JR East station.
