Great location and great villa

The breakfast was very good...ordering was a bit of a challenge at first but we soon got used to.it. the staff are excellent and try their best all of the time. The gardens are lovely even though there are a few areas that could do with a bit more attention.

The water ways leading to the villas are awful...they need to be emptied and be replaced with gardens asap. Quite ugly walking these walkways with mouldy walls, looked like a prison, not pleasant at all. Handrails are non existent and too many stairs to manoeuvre for people with a disability or elderly. The main entry is very dangerous with once again no handrails. The fountain out front needs to go not at all attractive or welcoming.

Great location — a short walk to the beach, plenty of good restaurants nearby, and only about 5 minutes from Icon Bali. The villa was very clean, with only a couple of bugs in the bathroom. The pool was a highlight — a great size with lots of shade. Breakfasts were generous with plenty of food; we especially recommend the Indonesian option. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Air conditioning worked very well in both bedrooms, WiFi was reliable, and the outdoor dining area and bathrooms (with outdoor showers) were lovely. Overall, great value for money.

The two-bedroom villa layout wasn’t ideal as the bedrooms weren’t internally connected, which could be tricky for families with younger children. The main bedroom door didn’t lock properly, although the villa gate did lock so we still felt secure. There was a bit of street noise, mostly noticeable in the shower. The American breakfast (bacon and eggs) was fairly average compared to the other options.

The location is fabulous, only 2 min. to the beach and only 6 min. to the Icon Bali. The resort is very peaceful, so greeny, full of frangipani trees; there are only villas with their own pools but also a large public swimming pool with jacuzzi. Its a large relaxing area. The villas look better than in the booking's pictures, they are in balinese traditional style but in the luxury way, not so dark and browny as they are shown. Everything is very clean and cozy. In the evening, the hosts are putting spiral scented sticks for mosquitoes in each villa but even if we were there in the full rainy season ( the end of February) and it did rained every day, there was not even one mosquito.
