Mason Elephant Lodge

Had to ask to have hot water for showers to be turned on. Great selection of food at the restaurant. Rooms were nice, surprised by a fruit plate, sweet plate when beds turned down. Friendly staff. Would stay again

A fantastic and chill way to spend time with the majestic Sumatran elephants in a very impressive environment. The facilities are great and they are constantly improving. The room was extremely comfortable and the staff quickly and effectively made up our room and performed the turndown service seamlessly. The place is a ton of fun and very well cared for. My family loved it all.

We found elephant lodge at the last minute and while we normally dont go to animal parks this seemed different so we tried - we had the park view room overlooking the elephants area , sitting on our big balcony was a treat the children were so excited. And then the elephants pick you up from the room to go to dinner! Once in a lifetime amazing experience- super top quality resort , very nicely organised . Well done to the whole team there and thanks for a wonderful experience.

We absolutely loved staying at Masons. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the elephants well treated and the experience there is most definitely unforgettable.

Please do your research on the Jungle noise! I was not aware of the cicadas and OMG the noise drove me crazy! We stayed one night and it was more than enough! Staff is friendly and accommodating. I asked to switch the room d/t loud noise of cicadas. They upgraded our room and added a dinner ride by elephants which was exciting. There is nothing around the area. Pool was very small and not clean. It was very sad to see that elephants are staying on the chains around their legs at the park and not moving freely. The elephants are forced to perform for the tourists. It is a magnificent animal but I was sad to see the condition they live in. The park was a bit old and needed some updating and more engagement. The only 5 starts experience is the dinner: omg that chef was amazing! The most delicious meal we had in a while and we went to Koral under water restaurant thought we couldn’t be surprised anymore, but we were!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We learnt a lot and had a Wonderful experience. Beds were comfortable (very firm)) Which was good for me as I have a which was good for me as I have a bad back . Pillows were solid but soft. all amenities were provided in the room. There a few cafe bar And restaurant options. We enjoyed all the experiences. They also offered Experiences such as helicopter rides to the volcano And white water rafting. It is a fair trip from any other activities but we booked a driver for the day and got to experience rice patties, lewak coffee and we also went to the monkey Forest. Ubud Was only about half an hour drive away. X
