The Kayana Villa

Hotel was clean, villa was amazing, Loads of little extras. Garden area was lovely and there was no extra charge to have breakfast delivered to your room either. Staff are super friendly and they are always working hard. Everyday without fail, the ground staff are keeping walkways free from plant debris. This is up there with the top hotels in the world, you won't be disappointed

Lovely staff couldn't do enough for us. Quiet during day. Lively breakfasts. Needs a bit of cleaning on floors too many stains etc in bathroom and toilet floors. Excellent service.

We went to Kayana for our honeymoon. The Location is great with lots of food/shopping to do and it's a close drive to the Seminyak Square. The first impression of the front desk is lovely. You get greeted with a welcome drink. The staff is so lovely. I have nothing bad to say about the staff! They were so polite and very helpful. Where they lost points was on the villa maintenance. The photos on expedia are very deceiving. Our villa was quite outdated. We were in villa#825 and the floors are cracking, the bathroom sink area was in 3/5 condition (Wood is old and cracking), and the toliet area had ants/mosquitos and flies (luckily they provided bug spray). The beds were too firm for me and uncomfortable. The pillows were super flat. The bed sheets also had small stains. The bed frame has a mosquito net would will save you if you are staying there! We expected the gym to be awesome but it was below average. It's literally a room with a few machines. We had the couples massage there. The massage we had here were hands down the best massages we had in Bali. If you find the massages at Kayana are expensive, there is a Spring Spa right across the street!

This place is in an awesome location.. right near potatoe head. As you walk inside you forget that your amongst the caos of seminyak. It is quiet. Clean, and you hardly ever see anyone. The villa was perfect. I'd definitely stay here again. Thank you The Kayana

Excellent hotel, staff and location. Hard to fault, we had an amazing stay.

We thought we had found the perfect villa, however, it's location in the ultra 'hip' section of Seminyak has, for us, turned out to be Kuyana Villa's Achilles heel. The villa, staff, restaurant and the grounds are just beautiful- really hard to fault The location of the property is walking distance to the beach and an abundance of spa's,shops and fine restaurants that Seminyak is renowned for, however, it also places this property(and others) right in the middle of the hotels and clubs that cater for the thriving DJ/dance crowd. This meant loud (Doof doof) music well into the morning hours, typically on the Friday/Saturday nights of our stay. We were gratefully moved to a villa more to the rear of the property which reduced the noise somewhat and recommend to others to request this. However the whole property is barraged by noise to varying degrees and if you are a light sleeper it will be a long night. The management do provide warning for some of the larger events but are not aware of all of them and certainly have no say in the seemingly unrestricted curfew times. This is the only issue we had and do hope the management of Kayana and all the surrounding accommodations can work together with the local clubs/hotels to come up with a suitable solution for sound levels and curfew times. If this issue can be resolved we would definitely return to this beautiful sanctuary.

Great experience! We booked the private villa with full size pool. Villa was larger than expected, everything was very clean and worked well. Staff was very attentive and the restaurant and front staff addressed us by name after the first day! Resort location was great! It's right off the main road so was easy to walk to food and shopping, yet the resort was small and private and quiet once you walk past the lobby into the main resort area. I would say the resort is great for couples and adults looking for a quiet place to retreat too. If you are looking for more of the party type resort or one with many activities for kids where there is beach access, multiple restaurants, shopping, bars etc within your resort, this is not the place for you. However, Potato Head is about 2 minute walk one way and the W resort is right next door so very easy to walk to and then have a peaceful quiet retreat to go back to at the Kayana. We loved it and both agreed we would stay there again!

AMAZING! I can't recommend the Kayan enough. It was the most relaxing resort I have ever stayed in. With a private villa it felt like we were the only ones in the whole resort which in actual fact it was full. The privacy was great. The staff were fantastic down to the detail of remembering our room number and names. House keeping was great, never missed a beat. Everyone was lovely. We will definitely be back.

Great private rooms with private pool. Excellence customer service. Quiet and comfortable bedrooms. The only big nebative was that our phones were both stolen..mine could have been i the FB but my girlfriend's was takes off the table at our villa. Very ugly experience in an otherwise Dream stay.

Appalling value for money. Starting with the villa - tiles cracked/stained. Mould/stains from (clearly) leaking air-con unit on ceiling bulk-head. Air-con sounded like a washing machine all night - clearly on its last legs as was the 20 yr old "plasma" TV. Toilet blocked requiring property maintenance visits - may explain brown stains on cracked tiles in bathroom area!! Villa garden overgrown with weeds. Sun lounges stained, faded and cracked. No block-out blinds, green,rusted shower-head, grey towels (formerly white) and decayed timber shower floor rounded out the "features" of this property. Visit to the "gym" and I use the word gym very loosely - doors flung wide open and no air-con turned on. Austerity measures for their 5 star villa guests!! Breakfast defined as "a la carte" and all inclusive but not if you want anything on the right hand side of the menu! Guess where all the good stuff is.... Finally the internet - forget it. Had to use their PC at the front desk to get connection. Buyer beware the internet photos are extremely deceiving!
