Garden View Inn

Firstly, i need to say that the bed was more comfortable than some we have had in hotels that cost twice the price. And the room was mostly clean and usable. But cleaning staff needs some training. Found smelly wet towel under the shower curtain. Also, I put out the "do not disturb" sign after the first night of our 2-night stay because we didn't need anything & we didn't want anyone in our room. We returned to find they came in anyway. They took the tiny soap I had used once as well as my plastic cup. I hate the wastefulness as much as the intrusion. I did tell the desk person when we left. I was also sad that it took a very long time to get any hot water. More unfortunate waste.

place was dirty load noisy. police and fire dept came by twice. people where up all hpurs of the night making noise. i coumd not sleep at all. i would never go back again.

It was just enough for the right price. It was reasonable rate and it was a cute, clean room. Was little outdated but didint have an old feel. It was small but also cozy and clean.

The room is nice, looks like it’s been “done up” but poorly eg paint on roof, tiles in bathroom don’t line up/ reach the floor. There was also a coach roach in the bathroom!! First impression was it’s ok for an overnight stop over. However, the road noise and Manjanja stench from ourside is unbearable!! Wouldn’t go back, wouldn’t recommend if you want to sleep!

The hotel was in a good location for shopping, fast food and near the conference I needed to attend. It did have a small microwave and refrigerator. There was a lot of homeless people around the hotel in the evening times. The window in my room was broken with a board covering it. No phone available in the room, power strips were used to plug in many electrical cords, no place to hang my clothes and no hair dryer. The bathroom had hair in the tub, sink and floor. The office was always locked and no one at the front desk (you rang a buzzer and waited for someone to unlock the door) I didn't feel very safe.

Not too bad, pretty run down, but the price reflects it. Nice people working there. Terrible parking.

Fresno is good and hot in the summer. Arriving, the street in front and the parking area were a furnace. But the pool and its landscaping came as a surprise and a wonderful oasis. Staff were outgoing and helpful. The room was small but nest-like and quite comfortable.

The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was not comfortable. Bed was a hard spring mattress, the bathroom door was bigger than the door frame and didn't close, there was a half inch gap above and below the main door so it would not stay cool, and the room had no sound proofing at all. We could hear the cars on the main road all night long.
