Te Moana Tahiti Resort

A good location 10 minutes from the airport. Beautiful setting with good sea views. Particularly beautiful at night with the lighting out to the sea.

We had a poor check in experience as arrived very early from airport as most people do. The staff were very unhelpful. Also we asked for a quiet room and It should have been ok except there were several dogs in kennels which turned out to be rescue dogs sponsored by one of the hotel directors. The dogs never stopped barking throughout the night. We were very tired after a 36 hour journey from the UK and this further lack of sleep made us feel even worse. It was suggested that the dogs could be silenced using an electric shock collar which didn’t seem right so we insisted on being moved.

Everything we needed was at the resort. Tour companies picked us up from the front door. Local Bus service and shopping was not far to walk to. The friendliest hotel staff.

We needed to learn a bit more French to get around the island. Got sunburnt while snorkelling.

Très joli hôtel avec accès piscine et mer. La chambre était propre et spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner buffet propose un large choix. Le personnel est très agréable. L’hôtel est bien situé, à moins de 5 minutes à pieds d’une supérette, de restaurants, roulottes et d’arrêts de bus reliant le centre de Papeete.

Hatten großes Zimmer mit Küche und Kaffeemaschine, tolle Aussicht auf Moorea, gepflegte Umgebung, Pool und Lagune zum Schnorcheln

Sauberkeit im Zimmer vor allem der Boden könnte besser sein Würden dieses Hotel nicht für längeren Aufenthalt empfehlen.
