Nirvana Hermitage

The food, ambiance and the location of the place was superb. The room service was really poor. They just don't pick up the calls, we had go to the reception and to the pool-bar personally to order stuff each time. The room could have been a little better in terms of the quality of furniture kept.

Serene surroundings, hilltop location, spacious & cozy rooms, very tasty food, clean hotel, poolside resto & bar and courteous & polite staff. That sums it up. Had no problem during the stay. Only negative factor is that, it is a couple of kilometers away from the beach. But if you're renting a bike or car, then this is the place to be.

The property is nice but located at a hilltop. They say its close to the beach but its not a walkable distance. Atleast 2 Km. Their Standard Rooms and Delux Cottage are the SAME. We were 2 families and we had booked both. Infact i found that the standard room was larger than the so called delux cottage. The photo of the delux room gives an impression that you will get a double King size bed and a single Queen size bed... Wrong.... There is only 1 King size bed. You have to request for an extra bed which is small and hard. The photo of the room is not what you will get. So if you plan to book a delux room, dont waste money, standard room is better (except if the flooring and wall lamps matter more than the size of the room). Overall good hotel. Nice friendly and helpful people. A vehicle (hotel will help you rent it) is a must. I would prefer staying at a location closer to the beach or the markets. If you are a nature lover and want to sit in the room or hotel compound, you will love to stay here. Complientary breakfast is not great but reasonable good. I will give this hotel 6 out of 10. Very clean, very nice but location takes the hit.

Excellent location although a bit hard to find. But once you reach it is real Nirvana. Excellent rooms and efficient staff. Good food and service. Nice to relax and be laid back.

It doesn't provide the ambience nd service what it's charging. We can get more good rooms in lesser cost.

the whole experience was wonderful nice location... staff very warm weather was too good FOOD was the highlight...breakfast was perfect! whatever we ordered was up to the mark! would love to visit again.... 10/10 experince...

The hotel rooms face the beautiful garden and the sea giving a very calm and comfortable stay. The only drawback is the variety and quality of food. The food is really boring.

I herd about this Hotel. Hotels service is good, every thing is very Fabulous, but food rates are very high. we are not comfirtable with the same.

This hotel is located in Anjuna, not like the address reads as Baga. The food is average nothing exceptinal and is highly priced. The hotel is situated on a hillock and the road from the hotel to the main road takes about 20mins and tends to get lonely post sunset. So incase you are a couple pls beware. One definetly needs to have your own vehicle/rent a vehicle, else the private services are extremely expensive. You can contact Joe, the rent a vehicle owner, his details are avialble from the hotel only,he is resonable than the rest and vehicles are also in good condition.The staff at the hotel are courteous as long as you can connet to them, most of the times the phones either at the reception or the restuarant are answered only after 5 missed calls. On a whole for this price you can get a lot of hotels in goa, for North Goa calangute has a lot of options and good ones and is well connected to beaches around North Goa well.
