"No bueno.. app will not let me add photos"

As soon as we walked in another guest was compaining about the baby bed rail being broken and nothing had been done for 2 days. We still checked in .3 rooms.after we check in we come to find out the pool was closed. The reason we picked the hotel was because it had the indoor pool. There are bed bugs in our room. And room 205 had no hot water... ALL out rooms were hot. The ac is super loud and doesn't cool the room. We all slept with no blankets on thats how hot it was in our rooms. The front desk gentleman Jose Is very hars to hear even at 3 feet away. He literally whispers to guest.i will say beds are soft. If you use their shampoo and conditioner expect to have everything watered down.

"Horrible Unsafe Domestic Violence Ignored"

The rooms were about what you would expect for the price, but the safety in the hotel was non-existent. Front desk checkin person was very good and personable, but it ends there. If I could give less than a 1 star I would. We had domestic violence occurring in the adjacent room - items being thrown around, crashingssounds, loud LOUD LOUD!!! screaming cursing (every word in the book for 5 hours). Front desk did nothing about it until I talked with them face-to-face and said either handle this, get the police here, or I am calling 911 NOW! We were fearful that a gun shot was going through the walls - they went in and out of the room dozens of times slamming the door - TV on a very high volume (assuming to muffle the sound). Nothing was done to reconcile or stay - no sleep no peace and an overall horrible experience. Apple Hospitality is the management company and they should step up and make right!

Nice, safe location even if it is a little far from dowtown. Staff was very nice and welcoming.

Booking gave the completely wrong address in my confirmation email. Granted it was the address of another Marriott property that was close by so not too cumbersome to redirect. First time this happening and I book fairly often. Be aware.

Joyce is the BEST—so kind, professional, and truly dedicated. She helped us find our lost item and didn’t stop until it was recovered. Any team would be lucky to have her! I personally wouldn’t return to this hotel, but I would just to see this lovely , helpful lady!

"Extremely Disappointed with the Check-In Experience"

Extremely Disappointed with the Check-In Experience I’ve stayed at this Marriott Fairfield location multiple times over the past couple of months due to work travel and have generally had good experiences—until now. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was incredibly disappointing. I arrived around 11:50 PM, having already checked in via the app, expecting to quickly grab my key and head to my room. Instead, I was greeted by an empty front desk and a sign that read “Will be right with you.” I waited patiently for about 10 minutes with no sign of anyone. Feeling concerned, I called the hotel—only then did an employee named Manuel finally appear from the back. To my surprise, he didn’t greet me, didn’t apologize for the delay, and certainly didn’t acknowledge the inconvenience. In fact, his demeanor made it seem like I was the one being rude for interrupting him. He simply pointed at the sign and said, “Can’t you read?” Both I and another guest who had been waiting were shocked by his unprofessionalism. I tried to explain that I was concerned for his safety and wasn’t sure how long we were supposed to wait, which is why I called. Any reasonable person would have done the same. At the very least, the sign should include an estimated return time to set expectations. This experience made me feel unwelcome and dismissed. As a frequent guest, I expected better. I hope management addresses this kind of behavior because it reflects very poorly on the Marriott brand
