"Nice Stay Here Despite Negative Recent Reviews"

I was hesitant to stay at this Hilton property because of past reviews. However, it was close to relatives we were visiting while in Port Richey. It also offered 2 bed / 2 bath suites, so we took a chance. It was a very nice stay! Large clean room furnished nicely. Nice staff, nice lobby and breakfast area. Breakfast was good enough. Free parking. The hallways are very long and confusing. Easy to get lost! There is a busy highway nearby so if you're a light sleeper, this might be a problem if you're near the road.

"Great fresh hotel"

"Great stay, flat pillows"

Facilities were wonderful, staff was great, breakfast was good.

The PILLOWS, there are two choice. No filling and even less filling. I actually got up and grabbed a towel roll from the bathroom to use as a pillow and it was honestly better than the deflated pillows that were provided. I'm sorry, personal opinion, but I like a firmer pillow with some type of support. The provided pillows may be great pillows and some people may love them, to each their own, but personally I with there would have been a couple options to choose from. The rest of out stay was great, but the main focus point of any hotel is your sleep comfort, and regardless of the rest of the amenities, this kinda ruined our overall experience. Would I stay here again...Yes, I just make sure to bring my own pillow.

"Don’t stay here"

I would never stay here again. My first room smelled like smoke even though it was “nonsmoking”. In addition, there was some kind of renovations being done so non stop pounding noises. I requested a new room and the new room also smelled (like mold). The beds aren’t comfortable and I would never take my shoes off with the condition of the carpet.
