Continental Inn - Charlotte

Almost noisy-free even if it is near street, very well managed room, comfortable and clean bed and bathroom, well-equipped facility including iron and hairdryer, no smoking smell in the room, good security, easy to find location and access to highway, really kind staff, feeling hospitality

Hope to be a toaster in the breakfast(it is trivial)

The price was convenient, the staff at checkout and check in were very nice and welcoming.

The rooms, although clean, were damaged, you could see water damaging to the walls and ceilings. The location is TERRIBLE. There's a 7/11 right across from the hotel ( you can literally throw a rock at it from the parking lot of the hotel), where there were homeless people and drug abusers outside all night and I'm not even exaggerating, there when I checked in at 10PM and there when I left at 6AM. It was alarming and very sad to see the condition some of them were in and very evident that some of them didn't sleep at all, they even had a fire lit in the 7/11 parking lot by the dumpsters which is closest to the hotel. On top of that every couple hours there was a loud announcement about how the parking lot at the store was being recorded. It was very busy with people arguing outside, playing music loud at 1:30/2 in the morning, bed wasn't very comfortable, my keycard didn't work to the room when I first got there and then I went and got another one and he gave me two (one worked and one did not and even the one that did work, you had to slide it through the door several times), there was a huge gap in the door between the door and the doorway, made me uncomfortable like anyone could break in or peak through, and the room was very hot.

The room was clean, no smells, The Host was very friendly. Lots of cameras throughout the property so security wasn't a big issue.
