City Living Schøller Hotel

I stayed in one of their apartments for a longer periode. Very nice, newly refurbished and good size apartment. Soft bed and god pillows. The shower had good water pressure and lots of warm water. The little kitchen and fridge worked fine. There were a lot of noise coming from the streets since the two window glasses are very thin. One window was also missing one glass. Also there were a lot of noise from the room above with heavy footsteps and ruckus until late night. I would advice you to get a room at the top floor to avoid that. For longer stays they only change the sheets and towels once a week. More times than I can count they managed to forget that and I had to go down to the reception to remind them to come and clean my room. Also there were two power outages that I learned were planned, but the hotel never warned the guests about it. Meaning I had to spend one evening in total darkness in my room and the other time I got no work done due to the lack of power and internet. The location is perfect. It's right in the middle of everything. I would recommend staying here for a few days. For longer periods maybe stay somewhere were they are more alert to their customers. All the staff was very nice, but as explained; quite forgetful which can be annoying for a guest after a while.

Located in the City center, very close to pedestrian street. Room 306: Rather large corner room, with small kitchenette. Room was perfect for a family of 4. Very nice staff in the reception, they even offer free coffee.

Excellent property, great location in central Trondheim. Very clean room that offered a mini fridge and great WiFi. I had a minor issue with the original room they assigned to me, so the friendly front desk staff upgraded me to a larger room. I also appreciate the free laundry machine!

was under the impression that all rooms had a kitchenette. My mistake. Only the apartments do. I made a reservation with that in mind, planning to buy stuff at the local fishmarket (which is a market in name only). The kitchen is a common facility, small and dark. Our room was a tiny, dull, depressing pit with a cracked door frame and wires sticking out of the ceiling in place of a light fixture. The room was so small the two twin beds could hardly fit there. Wi-fi was a disaster with the constantly disappearing signal. Street parking is $3.50 p/h, free from 8 pm to 8 am only. The front desk are not aware of the nearest (and the cheapest) parking garage Bilhuset Ola Brun and offer you to park on the other end of downtown. The location is central, true, across the street from the royal apartments, but since downtown Trondheim is about 1 km in diameter it makes any other hotel in town centrally located. So considering that a decent breakfast for two would cost you a least $50 you would be better off staying at a hotel providing breakfast. There are more hotels than tourists in Trondheim and at a better price than this dump so you have plenty of choice. Avoid it by all means.

This place is good for the price. Very centrally located, and has tiny kitchen facilities. Don't choose it if you need something more stylish and nice. It was perfect for us. Minor negatives: the reading lamp didn't work on one side (lighting is weird in general). Bed springs were broken on one side so the mattress sunk in.

Located in the heart of the city, rooms with decent size, OK bathroom. Everything clean and tidy, beds of ecxellent quality. Good value for money! 4/5 as the hotel doesn’t offer inhouse breakfast. As a guest you get a 15% discount voucher for a nearby cafe, or the possibilty to buy breakfast at a neighbour hotel quite close.

Ok place to stay in Trondheim. Not much service, but possibility to use kitchen and washing facilities if staying longer. Good fridge in a room. Clean but getting any cleaning service. Location is excellent.

The location of this hotel can't be beat. It was very comfortable, and a 10 minute walk to Nidaros Cathedral. Actually, we felt like we were a 10 minute walk from anywhere. It was really central- 10 minutes walk to Baklandet. There was a small refrigerator in our room, and we were so pleasantly surprised that we had access and use of a fully equipped kitchen on the second floor. There was even a laundry room to use for free! It was a really great stay, and the staff was extremely helpful.
