Petawawa River Inn & Suites

We booked a room with queen beds. They were double beds. I woke up with bites on my ankle and forearm. No breakfast offered. Next time I will book one of the new hotels down the street!

The room smelled bad, like stuffy mildew. Bed was uncomfortable, pillows smelled old. Very loud ac unit.

Great place to stay. Room s were clean and super nice. The only problem was the noisy bar til 2:00am. Then fighting patrons

It was my first trip to Petewawa to see my son. I called the Hotel to see if I could check in earlier then 3PM on the 12th becasue ny son only had a few hours off after the iron man run. Nicole not only set me up for an early check in she upgraded me to a large suite on the second floor. When I checked in Nicole and Grace were both very profesional, checked me in quickly and we had a few laughs. I'm from a small town on PEI and it felt just like home the way the entire staff there and at the BLVD resturant and bar treated me. My son had to leave earlier then expected back to his base in Gagetown but I decided to stay another night for the second Annual Music Healing Veterans 12 band line all day Saturday and night, and Nicole was working the bar that day. Highly recommedn this place. Overall awesome experince and I will be back next year for the weekend!

Very noisy ventilation A bit outdated

Conveniently located. Dated but clean rooms. Plenty of hot water. Good wifi. Nice amenities (attached to a convenience store and sub shop). Fridge nice and cold - prebagged ice. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Room location (third floor at back of hotel with no lift). Intermittent high-pitched whine came from air con or fridge. Front desk not always manned - involving a lengthy wait until someone turned up or you have to go looking for them.
