"Helped plan our day"

Came up from Corpus for a work function. It was lame so when we got back to the hotel George was working the bar and kept ny wife and I in good spirits. Helped us plan our morning for the next day since we didn't know where to grab some brunch.

Clean, newly decorated interiors near campus of UTSA. Staff was friendly and made us feel welcomed! Room was spacious and towels and bathroom was spotless and well appointed. Comfortable sheets and bed! Gated parking too!

"George has us sold!"

Every year, my friends and I plan a weekend getaway, and we ALWAYS choose to stay here MAINLY because of George the Bartender. We make sure to end each night at the bar hanging out with him. Aside from George, the food and drinks are great!

We always love staying at this DoubleTree hotel. Even more so this trip when we met the awesome George at the bar. He makes the best lemon drop martinis and was very catering to my group. We will definitely be back to see him and stay again soon!

Sasha was an absolute standout behind the bar. Friendly, quick with a smile, and somehow always knew exactly what we needed before we even asked. She turned a simple drink stop into one of the best parts of the stay. Whatever they’re paying her, it’s not enough—she made the whole experience better. Highly recommend grabbing a seat at her bar.
