St. George Beach Hotel & Spa Resort

Hotel situated about 10 minutes drive from Paphos Harbour. Rooms were very average, but very helpful staff. Swimming pool area was good loads of space for relaxing.

quick check in but not allocated room that was requested....double bed as opposed to twin..no other rooms available. lovely reception and bar area but rooms and other communal areas looking tired plenty of sunbeds but mattresses ripped, dirty and not enough for all sunbeds good variety of breakfast options maintenance issues dealt with quickly and efficiently although room not cleaned everyday gym facilities disappointing...not all machines in working order entertainment team very enthusiastic and staff in general friendly pool towels provided but not able to change them daily...only weekly

The setting was superb, with sea and beach as well as hotel pool. The sunset never failed to impress. We used the gym facilities and indoor pool daily, spa staff were very friendly. Although B and B we chose to eat in a couple of nights. There was plenty of choice, but we preferred to eat more local cuisine. Lunches very much to our likening and again very friendly polite staff. Excellent small restaurants a short walk along the newly concreted coast path. It's all here if you don't want to move from your sunbed all week But take advantage of the easy bus to town and some of the excursions for a better look at Cyprus.

The hotel was in a great location for a low key getaway with lots of great restaurants nearby. All in all it was a good stay but the customer service could be a lot better. The bar staff was outstanding, front desk not so much. Also, if you're looking for a really happening place this may not be for you. My husband & I are in our mid thirties & I'm pretty sure we were some of the youngest one's at the resort, this was fine with us & we had great conversations with the other guest. This may have been due to the start of the low season but thought I'd mention it. We loved Cyprus & hope to return, the St George was good for this visit but we'll try something else our next visit.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Not a 4 star quality at all from A to Z

This hotel's main positives lie in it's pool and proximity to the beach. We enjoyed the outdoor facilities. It is in a quiet area of Paphos with not much to do within walking distance (Would recommend Pepperoni Pizza and Saint Georgio to eat). The room was not of a 4 or 5 star standard; bits were falling apart in the bathroom, drips of water from the ceiling and poor quality bathroom products. The food wasn't great and did not match the standard you might expect in a 4 or 5 star hotel. As you might expect from all hotels, sunbeds were reserved before 7am and we were unsuccessful in getting a spot on a sunbed on many occasions unless we set our alarm early (therefore joining the many other annoying people that get up early to reserve tanning spots by the pool). Annoyingly, most sunbeds that had towels on them for reservation appeared to be vacated for majority (if not all of the day). Overall though as said in the first statement the proximity to the beach and pool are this hotel's best features.

Extremely beautiful hotel , great beach , good pool , but no beach attendants , no pool attendents , life guards were only seen at the bar sipping drinks. Very slow service at the pool bar even when there are hardly 2 guests at the bar . Very sad and disgusting food at the sunset bar , it took 45 minutes to give us our menu and another 1 hour to get us our order. The octopus that was ordered was as good as rubber , burnt burger, and the burger was extremely hard .

Fantastic hotel with excellent facilities, particularly the gym and the spa. The private beach was lovely with enough beds to use. The local bus service allowed easy access to Coral Bay and Paphos town centre.
