Good location, even during week 3 of spring break the hotel and area weren't crowded. Comfy nice rooms, clean, fridge and microwave in room. The rooms are a good size and modern. The pool area is nice and clean, but only has 5 or 6 lounge chairs and a few other regular chairs, so small. There's a nice little sand area beside the pool, and the bay/lagoon is right next to that. You "could" fish there, but be aware that the entire area is only a couple of feet deep, so we had no luck. There's a park about 100yds away with a fishing pier, but same thing, the water is 2 or 3 feet deep much further than you could cast. This spot is about 1 mile or a 5 to 10 min drive from several free public beach access areas. Good location, good value.

Like most hotels these days, check in is late, 4pm, and check out is 10am, so you lose a day on the way in and can't really get there early. IMO a bad policy overall in the industry (not just this place), as you should be able to check in when the room is ready. This location does allow early check in for a fee, which can be helpful.
