The property was beautiful ,great location and so many great things inside to look at the old furnishings.

The property was very dusty in smell maybe from the carpets as the furniture was clean and dust free . Was a little better once all doors were opened .

Loved the history of the room and the information available. The room and bathroom were spacious, and carparking was easy. The caretaker also rang a few days before just to ensure everything was sorted before we arrived, with a very detailed letter also upon arrival.

Sometimes less is more. The large dining table had so many tourist brochures and newspaper cutouts that there was no room to have a meal if you wished. There were also so many kids' toys and books (fire fighter themed, of course) that it felt more like a kids' room. Perhaps a display stand would help and a trunk for the kids' toys. That way, they are still there but would help the room feel less cluttered.

Everything it’s very quirky and looooove the spa bath.

Nothing it’s a interesting and lovely place

Arrived after dark, instructions on access were wrong and no lighting around the entrance then to get to the entrance - which was at the back , it was a walk down a dark lane.
