We had a generally pleasant stay at Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin and there were several things we truly appreciated. The resort is calm, private, and relaxing. The villas are spacious and comfortable, and the atmosphere is peaceful and suitable for families. The staff deserve a special thank you — they were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. Any time we needed assistance, someone arrived to our villa within 5 minutes, which was truly impressive. Also, we really appreciated that the bathrooms are equipped with hose options suitable for Arab guests. The in-room bathtub was also large and comfortable, which added to the relaxing experience. However, there are some areas that need improvement considering the resort’s premium level. Although the villa had three televisions, there were no Arabic channels and no ability to connect to YouTube, Netflix, or other streaming services — something that is expected nowadays in 2025. The breakfast was also limited and repetitive, and unfortunately there were no clear halal food options available, which would be very important for Muslim guests. Another challenge we faced was mosquitoes inside the villa. Although the hotel provided spray, it was not enough to fully manage the issue and it did affect our sleep, especially for the kids. Since the resort is nature-based, better preventive measures would really help guests feel more comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed the calm atmosphere, the privacy, the friendliness of the staff, the quick service, and some thoughtful facilities. With improvements in technology, breakfast variety, halal options, and stronger pest control, this resort has the potential to offer an excellent experience.

the wooden boardwalk needs to be upgraded and tightened. this felt a bit scary! otherwise the property is lavish and beautiful.

Unfortunately the property has lost its soul. There is no management at all around, and you feel clearly the lack of staff in each and every corner. I have never had such an unpersonalized service in a 5 star hotel. The only person who was really trying to make things happen was the front office manager. Otherwise the staff is lost and looks very frustrated. The property needs a full overall refurbishment and heads of departments. I have not seen any director or GM during our 8 days stay.

The soulless service, no attention to details at all. Very robotic. Lack of staff in every corner.

Im Meer war baden nicht möglich.Es ist kein Strand,sondern eine Mauer zum Meer.Die Wellen preschen gegen die Mauer.Für Personen die ein Hotel am Meer suchen nicht ideal Das Zimmer mit eigenem Pool würden wir nicht mehr nehmen.Die Mauer um das Zimmer sind für Privatsphäre,machen aber ein beengendes Gefühl.Die anderen Zimmer sind hübscher...mit Blick auf Weiher
